A Rapid Weight Loss Diet - Is It Any Good For You?

By editor | June 19, 2008

Unfortunately the world that we live in, gives more than necessary attention to the way [a person] looks, and while everyone scrambles to get the right look, some get it without any difficulty, and some try very hard, to get as fast as possible.

Restlessness is not a positive trait and having the perfect body without the normal pain that goes with this means that it is not always appreciated.

Rapid weight reduction is what these people are looking for, but the effectiveness of such programs is overtly publicized.

The speed of weight loss and whether this is at all effective or not, is a topic, which is under fundamental dispute, according to recent studies.

They say nothing comes simply and that could not be more true with someone following a swift weight reduction program as often once the plan has been ended by the user, the weight returns.

The research shows that people that are on these special low calorie / carbohydrate diets become tired with them which is quite natural and end up going back to their old eating habits quite quickly.

In all probability, according to research, what these users are losing is water content and not body fat.

While water loss can have dangerous outcome, it can be replaced as fast as it is lost, therefore there is no weight reduction at all.

What is most likely to happen is that the individual following such weight loss diets, may at the most lose two pounds a week, but the underlying threat is from the water content that is removed.

A recent addition to the weight reduction product marketplace has been the swift weight reduction soap which apparently emulsifies the body fat while it is being rubbed into the body during a bath and it only contains herbs and seaweed.

While it can always benefit the skin quality, but there is still no research done to show that it can really help in the loss of body fat.

Often it feels as if there is a different swift weight loss product every week and just to add to the list is a product that promises to speed up an individual’s metabolic process and suppress the hunger desire all at the same time.

More than this, the manufacturer also claims that helps with the body’s self healing system and reduces some pains but this one of magnetic jewelry sounds more like a jewelry accessory.

According to the advertising information, wearing the magnets improves the magnetic balance of the wearer and they can expect to benefit from all the effects mentioned previously.

All the same, till date there has been no proof of these tall claims ever submitted to any medical journal other than a few competitive press releases.

Finally, think of some home truths about fast weight reduction and they are that it is usually followed by rapid weight gain and that unless you go through real pain, there is no gain also in life.
