How To Create a Wedding Photo Album
The only real difference between modern wedding photo albums and versions from fifty years ago is that they would have contained monochrome images; technology has started to give us alternatives though! Almost all albums for instance will place the bride in the place of honor at the front of the album, just as it did in her mother’s time. Photos of the bride and groom in a spectacular setting are often very similar to those in the photo albums of their parents.
Next of the photos you will find in a modern wedding photo album will be one with the wedding party dressed in their finery. The party is normally close friends and relations that play an active part during the ceremony like the father of the bride, the best man, page boys and bridesmaids. The bride should then, by tradition, have some pictures taken of her and her attendants for the day.
After these shots are taken it will be the turn of the bride and her family, then the groom posing with his family. Wedding photo albums are generally large bound examples that contain pictures that are bigger than usual on pages that may be inlaid or embossed. Wedding photo albums will normally be in white with traditional decoration in the form of wedding bells and horseshoes; usually embossed to enhance the appearance further.
The design will probably be white with silver or gold as these are traditional wedding colors for an album and the pictures will be arranged artistically for maximum viewing pleasure. Of course while the tangible album is still popular, that does not mean the wedding photographer and modern technology have not tried to provide an equivalent by allowing the photos to be placed on a cd rom and on dvd’s as well. Every bride and groom should have their photos placed on a disc as they are less likely to be damaged and can be taken anywhere and displayed on large screens if required.
The real beauty of this digital revolution is how easy it is for everyone to enjoy every image of the day on a disc that is in effect a digital wedding photo album which can be stored indefinitely. This also means that guests have the opportunity to print off images they like whenever they wish and still keep a reminder of the day that can be seen at home on the TV if they wish. As modern technology allows even the newer digital photo frames will become more commonplace, where photos like this can be viewed at random.
